All our manicures include nail shaping, cuticle maintenance, massage, exfoliation, paraffin treatment and Nailtiques nail protein.
** When you are treating yourself to your first Shellac Manicure, make sure you have removed any previous "nail enhancements" to include any gel, acrylic or overlay product and come with just natural nails as we do not remove anything except regular nail polish.
Once you have a shellac manicure with us, you are welcome to come in any time to have it removed at no cost either to have another shellac manicure, a regular manicure or no manicure at all. We use the CND Shellac product line and it is currently the only "shellac" product on the market. There are many "gel" versions but CND is the only shellac. Â
To address the concerns of the longer wearing polishes, we do the following:Â when you are curing under the UV light, we put your hands into gloves to prevent UV exposure except to the nail polish;Â when we are removing we put Vaseline around your fingers to prevent dryness of the acetone and we do not soak your fingers in the acetone (see removal instructions below)Â Â
We also like clients to know its easy to remove so in case you have it on and want to remove it at home: just put on Vaseline around your nail area to prevent drying from the acetone; take a small cotton pad and soak with acetone and place onto the shellac nail polish; ( you do not need to put your finger tips into acetone to soak off); wrap with aluminum foil just to hold in place; remove after about 7 minutes and any residual shellac polish can be pushed off with a wood cuticle stick (called an orange stick). Â
